You're still here..... Ok, we will let you know how to play. When initiating new players it is important to not reveal any rules; they must figure all rules out through gameplay. To begin deal each player seven cards. The dealer lays one card out and says the game has begun, from this point forward no one is allowed to speak. The first person to go is left of the dealer and the game continues clockwise. When it is your turn, place down a card that is the same color or value as the previous card, if not draw. The main objective is to get rid of all the cards in your hand.

There also exist rules that happen when certain types of cards are played. These include: 7s make the person who played them say ‘have a nice day’ to the next player, 8s reverse order of play, the 9 of hearts make you tell the next player ‘I love you’, Jacks are wild cards, and Aces skip the next players turn. Failure to acknowledge the rule or play out of turn are penalized with the cards.

When you are down to one card remember to say Mao and when you get rid of them remember to say Mao out. If anyone says these things before you do you draw another card and the game continues.
